My name is Ghita Himmi and I am a senior at RAS. I have been a part of MaMUN since 2015, as staff, DSG, PGA and now as a Chair, as well as a part of 2 other conferences as a delegate and chair. My name is Omar Nejjar I am an RAS junior and it will be my uttermost pleasure to serve as a chair of the ECO-FIN committee of the 8th annual edition of Maroc MUN. This year will be my first time as a chair, which will be added to my previous MUN experiences. In the previous years, I was a crew member and secretariat member in previous MaMUNs as well as a delegate in multiple various conferences around the globe (including MaMUN). In the past up to this day MUN has been a major factor in my life. The experience has given me the desire and compulsion, to know what issues our world faces today and how all members of our modern society could potentially resolve them in mutual respect and understanding. I hope you will enjoy the conference as much as I will and learn new skills, as well as an increased awareness of our modern issues, and diplomacy.

Hello,
It is my pleasure to be serving as this years UNIDO Chair. I am a junior at RAS and have been a participant of the RAS MUN Club for 3 years. This will not be my first MUN conference; I have participated three times as a delegate in TangierMUN and one time as a delegate in MaMUN. In MAMUN last year, I had the opportunity to chair in the Legal Committee.
MaMUN is a great opportunity for students to take roles as delegates and take part in discussions to create solutions on the worlds most pressing issues. Hello Delegates,
My name is Neil Sebti and I am a senior at Casablanca American School. I have attended MUN conferences for the past three years however, this is my first time chairing a committee. My role is to ensure that the delegates entertain productive debate and come up with a strong resolution. I look forward to this year's conference and hope that the ECOSOC committee will be enjoyable and provide a positive experience overall.

My name is Akane Inoue and I am a senior at the Rabat American School. It is an honor and pleasure to be chairing the UNIDO committee in this edition of MaMUN. This will be my 6th MUN conference, having attended conferences in both Morocco and overseas, and my first time chairing. Being a shy person, MUN has been a place where I can take risks and speak in front of a large group of people and learn to hold my ground when there are opposing views. With every conference, MUN has allowed me to improve on my public speaking skills and confidence as I interact with different people with different backgrounds who come together to achieve one goal: to debate to find solutions to pressing issues in the world.
I hope that there will be lively, fruitful debate and that you will all gain from this experience as I have in MUN.

My name is Nick Hamann, I am a junior at the Rabat American School and it is an honour to be serving you in the 8th edition of the Maroc Model United Nations. I have participated as a delegate in the past two MAMUN conferences, and the Tangier MUN conference. It is my goal as a chair of the Disarmament committee to moderate the debate and make it a pleasant experience for all of you. I have the feeling that this year will be a special MUN year as the topics are getting more interesting, the amount of delegates is increasing, and most importantly, it is fair to say that the delegates are taking this conference very seriously, with great determination. My name is Mehdi Bennani Smires and I am a senior at Casablanca American School. I am honoured to be a chair for the Environmental Committee at Maroc MUN’s 8th annual conference. This will be my first time as a chair after participating as a delegate in five Model UN conferences. My job is to ensure that the debates are productive and fun while simultaneously being relevant and keeping a factual basis. I am looking forward to working with all of the delegates in the Environmental Committee and am hopeful that we will draft fair resolutions as a product of active debate.
Hello Delegates,
My name is Majd El Rifai. I am a senior at RAS, currently participating in my third MAMUN. I began my journey as a delegate in the human rights committee, and progressed to become vice president of the ICJ, and will this year serve as the court's president. I have dedicated the majority of my MUN time in MAMUN or in outside conferences as a member of this court due to the unique style it has. If done right, the flow of the debate is quick, and skips some of the formalities of debate to enhance the actual discussion. Although challenging, proper preparation from all advocates leads to a fulfilling experience where one improves all aspects of his/her debating skills. I hope that, with the help of my vice president, the panel can work together in a harmonic way to guide you in what will be a learning experience for all of us.
