DELEGATE EXPERIENCE

OUR MISSION

SUBSTANTIVE EXCELLENCE

SOCIAL & CULTURAL CONNECTION

Maroc Model United Nations (MaMUN) is a four-day academic conference that provides high-school students from around the world with the opportunity to meaningfully engage with contemporary world issues, polish public-speaking and communication skills, and become more confident and articulate global citizens.

The conference blends together engaging committee sessions with immersive in-conference trips and spectacular social events to provide an unforgettable experience. This goal is embodied by the ‘WorldMUN Spirit’ - a guiding principle that encourages friendship and cooperation across borders, along with a deeper understanding of cultures and perspectives beyond one’s own.

Since its founding in 2010, MaMUN’s purpose has been:

______To educate high-school students in the arts of debate, negotiation, and public speaking by providing a forum in which they can hone their skills.

______To introduce students to the fascinating realities and complexities of international relations through simulation of international organizations.

______To underscore the potential of the United Nations in resolving international problems while demonstrating its limitations.

whY CHOOSE MaMUN?

The true essence of MaMUN revolves around the delegate experience, and we are committed to ensuring that our participants have the most engaging and enriching experience possible. Whether this comes from debate or diplomacy inside committee or the formation of relationships with fellow MaMUNers from around the globe, the conference is an experience that delegates remember for a lifetime.

MaMUN hosts ten simulated committees from the United Nations, featuring a multitude of member states, international organizations, and related governmental and non-governmental bodies. Our committee sessions are directed by extremely involved chairs, providing the perfect setting for participants to discuss some of the most pressing problems of our generation.
