Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,
I am excited and honoured to invite you to the eight annual conference of Maroc Model United Nations to be held Thursday through Sunday, January 18–21, 2018 in Rabat, Morocco. At MaMUN high-school students will assume the roles of diplomats and converge for a weekend of stimulating discussion.
Nationally recognized for substantive excellence, MaMUN enables students to get a first-hand understanding of the challenges of international diplomacy, debate solutions to the big issues of our time, and engage with the world around them. Delegates moreover find our conference valuable as an opportunity to develop vital personal and professional skills, helped along by the mentorship of their advisors and the supportive environment around them that makes risk less daunting to take. Our eight session will continue in this vein to deliver an experience characterized by educational and meaningful opportunity, and I sincerely hope that you will be able to join us!
Registration for MaMUN is open and will remain open until September 25th, and confirmation of acceptance and country assignments will be announced in the early autumn. Additional details concerning logistics, including key dates and the fee schedule, are available on this website under the Conference tab.
